1. WHAT IS IN THE SOUND BLASTER LIVE! DRIVERPACK
   ---------------------------------------------

The full package of the Sound Blaster Live! DriverPack consists of:

a. Live! DriverPack
b. PlayCenter 3 (Version 3.02.52)
c. Recorder (Version 2.00.31)
d. MiniDisc Center (Version 1.01.15)
e. Remote Center (Version 1.40.26)


2. Live! DriverPack - 'LiveDrvPack.exe'
   -------------------------------

This package upgrades the Sound Blaster Live! driver, and enhances 
the product's overall performance on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. 
The package also upgrades core applications, including Audio HQ and 
Surround Mixer for optimal Sound Blaster Live! performance.

This update resolves compatibility issues with Sound Blaster Live! 
products on Windows 2000 and Windows XP

   2.1 Requirements: 
       * For Windows 2000 and Windows XP users ONLY.
       * Creative SB Live! Series audio card installed.

   2.2 Notes:
       * This package can be installed independently and does not 
         require other applications in the Sound Blaster Live! 
         DriverPack to be downloaded or installed.
       * Older Sound Blaster Live! Experience demo applications 
         may not work properly after you install the Live! 
         DriverPack.
       * Creative Launcher is no longer installed at Startup. 
         To launch Sound Blaster Live! applications, you must 
         manually locate the applications' shortcuts in the Start 
         menu Programs-> Creative folder.


3. PlayCenter 3 - 'PlayCenter3_02_52.exe'
   ---------------------------

This package upgrades all versions of PlayCenter from version 
1.01.xx to version 3.02.50 for users running Windows 2000 and 
Windows XP. For NOMAD users, this package also supports Windows 98, 
Windows 98 SE and Windows Millennium Edition.

This update is required for updating PlayCenter for use with the 
Live! DriverPack. It upgrades previous PlayCenter versions -- 
from 1.01.xx to 3.02.50 -- to version 3.02.52.

   3.1 Requirements:
       * A previous version of PlayCenter or Live! DriverPack 
         is installed.
      
   3.2 Notes:
       * If an earlier PlayCenter v1.55 is detected, you will be 
         prompted to uninstall PlayCenter v1.55 before the 
         PlayCenter3 installation will proceed.
       * For users running Windows 2000, if an earlier PlayCenter 
         is not detected, installation will proceed without 
         WMA support.
       * If old drivers such as the NOMAD 2 version 1.4.2.12 or 
         NOMAD JukeBox version 1.3.3.0 are detected, you will be 
         prompted to download the latest NOMAD 2 and NOMAD JukeBox 
         drivers from http://www.nomadworld.com. These new drivers
         are required for PlayCenter 3 to work properly. 


4. Recorder - 'Recorder2_00_31.exe'
   -------------------------

This package upgrades the Creative Recorder to version 2.00.31.

This update enables the use of Creative Recorder with the Live! 
DriverPack.

   4.1 Requirements: 
       * Live! DriverPack is installed.
       * Creative SB Live! series audio card installed.
       * For Windows 2000 & Windows XP users ONLY.


5. MiniDisc Center - 'MiniDisc1_01_15.exe'
   --------------------------------

This package upgrades the Creative MiniDisc Center to version 
1.01.15.

This update enables the use of Creative MiniDisc Center with the 
Live! DriverPack.

   5.1 Requirements: 
       * Live! DriverPack is installed.
       * Creative SB Live! series audio card installed.
       * For Windows 2000 & Windows XP users ONLY.


6. Remote Center - 'Remote1_40_26.exe'
   --------------------------
This package upgrades the Creative Remote Center to version 
1.40.26.

This update enables the use of Creative Remote Center with 
the Live! DriverPack.

   6.1 Requirements: 
       * Live! DriverPack is installed.
       * Previous version of Remote Center installed.
       * Creative SB Live! Series Audio card installed.
       * For Windows 2000 & Windows XP users ONLY.
